Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager for Covisus Inc. (www.covisus.com), a VC funded Spinoff from ChromoLogic LLC (www.chromologic.com) to spearhead the development, implementation, and customer engagement for a cutting-edge imaging hardware and software system designed specifically for tracking supply chain items, such as microelectronic components and assemblies, within the military and aerospace sectors. Covisus has developed an award winning and industry leading technology for tagless tracking of assets based on its vTag® technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and continuous improvement.
Job Duties
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of the imaging hardware and software system tailored for supply chain tracking of microelectronic components and assemblies in military and aerospace domains.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment with product goals and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape within the military and aerospace sectors
- Define product roadmaps, features, and specifications based on a deep understanding of customer pain points and government regulations.
- Drive customer engagement initiatives, including workshops, demonstrations, and feedback sessions, to gather insights and refine the product offering.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, defense contractors (primes), and IT decision-makers in the military and aerospace sectors.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, security protocols, and IT systems specific to the target markets.
Qualifications
- Proven track record (5+ years) in a product management role, preferably in a technology company with experience in SaaS products.
- Demonstrated success in government sales, understanding procurement processes, and navigating the complexities of government IT systems.
- Deep understanding of military and aerospace supply chain operations, compliance standards, and security protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to make informed product decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, engineers, and customers.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams toward common objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
